Meet Denver J. Stutler, Jr.
Denver Stutler, Jr., is Chief Executive Officer of P3 Development Company
(P3DevCo), a firm specializing in public-private partnerships and President
of Stutler Strategies, Inc, a strategic advisory firm. Mr. Stutler is
a Professional Engineer, and he received his Bachelor’s degree in engineering
and his Masters degree in civil engineering from the University of Central
Florida.
Prior to this Mr. Stutler’s career path was in public service with the
State of Florida. In June 2005, Mr. Stutler was named Secretary of the
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) by Governor Jeb Bush, and
served through 2007. Prior to joining FDOT, he served as Chief of Staff
and Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Bush from 2002 to 2005.
Mr. Stutler began working in the Bush Administration as the Chief of
Staff for the Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) in 1999,
after serving on the gubernatorial transition team.
Prior to entering public service Mr. Stutler served in the private sector
as a Principal with Camp Dresser and McKee, Inc., an international environmental
engineering firm and also as a partner in a firm developing wetland
mitigation projects from 1989 to 1999.
Mr. Stutler has served in a number of roles in addition to the above
that reflect his strengths as a leader including: Mr. Stutler served
as Senior Fellow for Senator Connie Mack (R-FL) in the 105th Congress
(1997 to 1998), where his duties included environmental and water related
appropriations and policy; Mr. Stutler was a delegate in 1994 to the
NATO sponsored research conference on Remediation and Management of
the Degreaded River Basins in Vienna, Austria; Mr. Stutler participated
in a Engineering Ministries International Project team to Kinshasa,
Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire), Africa, to engineer water supply,
wastewater and erosion control improvements; and Mr. Stutler served
as elected Student Body President at the University of Central Florida.
